Building with shipping containers

It is important to understand how WRG works. We streamline the entire project. We are a full service company. This allows us to carefully oversee and manage every aspect of production.  Throughout the entire process we work with you on a daily basis and stay in constant contact to make sure we are exceeding your expectations and meeting every need you have. We consider you to be more of a partner to us than a customer.

Identify your needs. Here we discuss your business and what you are looking to achieve with us. We want to know everything you envision about the project. Do you want a mobile secondary location for your coffee shop? Or perhaps your online business needs a physical presence at special events…

Design. After we have a good understanding of what you need, you work with our designers and architect to work on materializing your vision. Several design drafts will be created until everyone is happy with a plan. This step will give us a better idea of costs.

Material Selection. Much like the design process we will all work together and carefully select all finish materials for your unit. This involves selecting custom items like fixtures, flooring, exterior siding, windows, food and beverage needs, etc. 

Construction. Once all plans are approved the container(s) will begin modification in our facility. This is where our tradesmen modify your shipping container. Every person that works on your project is the best at what they do. We only use certified tradesman with extensive experience in fine building and green building. Everyone here is a true craftsman

Supervision and Progress. We encourage you to stay involved on the progress as much as you would like. It’s important for you to know what is happening and equally as important for us to know what you’re thinking. We will always be available for you every step of the way. Take advantage of our unique Virtual Supervisor. You can take live video tours of the project to see progress and stay up to date. 

Completion. Waldorf Redevelopment is pleased to offer our customers complimentary airfare and accommodations for an on-site visit to our headquarters to approve the completion of the project. This is an opportunity for our customer to see the product in person before we ship it. 

Transportation and Installation. If your modified shipping container(s) is planned to be in a fixed position we will have already prepared the appropriate foundation and utility connections and simply place the unit. If your container is intended to be mobile and frequently moved we will ship it to wherever you want. We will then provide you with the resources to have your container moved and/or stored when you see fit.
